Bo Ya Jue Xian is CHAGEE's signature drink, jasmine green tea with fresh milk. The name comes from the story of Bo Ya, a qin player, and Zhong Ziqi, a woodcutter who understood his music. When Ziqi died, Bo Ya broke the strings of his qin and never played again. People still use the phrase for losing a friend who really understood you.
Most of the flavour comes from the tea, so a good jasmine matters here. Ours is scented the traditional way, with fresh jasmine flowers instead of added flavouring, and you can still smell it through the milk and cream.
Jasmine milk tea is one of the most popular drinks in modern Chinese tea culture, and this version quickly became one of our favourites.
